The most difficult part of writing a blog is from where should we start? So, let's just start with the fact that a lot of us have to face constraints when it comes to playing any online game, not just Dota. If your parents allow you to play games then trust me you are lucky because the most of our parents think that games are just some sort of time waste which should not be taken seriously but we all know how much addictive these online games are and here we are talking about Dota so yeah, most of us have spent nights just to become a better player.
I will be discussing whether there is a future for us in Dota or not. Belonging to a middle class family where your parents invest a very huge amount of money on your studies just so that you could become a successful person in your life but when they see you playing Dota all day and night, it makes them go mad and aggressive on you for not focusing on your studies and playing games. This is the first restriction that a lot of us have to face and then there comes the internet problem. I know how you guys feel when you are in the middle of a ranked game and your internet goes down. According to the survey, 70 to 75 percent of the population of Pakistan uses PTCL and we all know how contemptible it is. Even if your family allows you to spend time on gaming then the PTCL shows you the real face. Electricity breakdown is another problem that many of the Pakistani Dota players have to keep in mind. How can one become a good player if all the basic needs are not being fulfilled.
There is really a future for those who can overcome all the problems they have to face when it comes to Dota and not just this, consistency is required if you want to learn or sharpen your skill. There are 115 heroes and you have to play with them all in order to know what each and every hero does. Their abilities and which heroes are best under what situation and etc. Dota is not easy if you are trying to make a future out of it. If you look around you at those who play Dota, they are your competitors and you have to be smart and good in Dota to defeat them and this only can happen if you are willing to put your time and effort in this game. Honestly, its all about how much time you spend playing it! There are a lot of factors that you have to look around while trying to improve your game. You can always learn some new skills from your senior players and plus I would recommend you to watch matches of International players because there is always something to learn out of those matches. We have examples of some Pakistani players who are now not just famous but also earning a lot just because they are good at this game. Its a simple sum. If you want to become a good player then there's a price that you have to pay and that price is your time and your efforts. All human beings are same and I don't think if someone is better than us at gaming it doesn't mean they got this as a gift from God! No. All of this is because of their own effort and hard work and how much time they had to spend to become this good. All you need to do is focus.
I accept that we all have to face some limitation and we also have a life other than Dota but for those who are willing to become something, they have to invest. I see young players who are really really good in this game and I always appreciate their efforts because this is from where it begins. A single spark can change a lot of things in life. LEARN, ADAPT AND IMPROVISE! This is the sequence that you have to follow. This can be an eye opener for all of those who were looking for some motivation or from where to start. I hope that this blog will help you out in one way or another.
